Great tasting food, excellent service and wonderful host owner who went the extra mile to make us feel at home. It was a very nice and pleasant experience! Sure wish other restaurants can deliver the same! If you're looking for tasty Thai food, Thai Bay is the place!

$$$$! Too Expensive! One of the most over-priced Thai places to be found in the USA. Truly What are these good people thinking ? This is not the Ritz. $15 smackers for a simple vegetable curry. $15 for vegetable pad thai. The prices are not shown online for a reason. They should be ashamed of themselves. They do not participate with any of the half-price/discounted dining venues, that I could find. If they did, then the prices would make some sense. The are going to need to Get Real to Survive there. I wish them well, I am just telling the truth from what I can see. Update .. they remain open, which is good and they still do not show their prices online, which is not good to most of us, I would think.

A delicious, no-nonsense Thai food eatery off the beaten path. We went here by happy accident and weren't disappointed. The place looked empty and honestly a bit sketchy, but the inside was clean and the food was great. Service was extremely attentive and spot on. Prices were reasonable and portions were on the generous side, especially because you get soup or salad with each entree. Here's some of what we ate: Wonton soup - Well received. Would order again. Also, they give you 3 wantons! Hot and sour soup - Just okay, wouldn't order again. One person in our party thought it tasted of cinnamon. Prik kingh - Stir fried green beans and chicken. Fresh tasting, with a bit of spice. Would order again. Beef satay - Excellent. Well spiced, well cooked, and with delicious sauces on the side. Steamed dumplings - Ordinary but good. Lacked pizzazz. Phad Thai - Quite good. Not too greasy. Chicken and Broccoli - Generous portion and was tasty. Reportedly not as yummy as the Phad Thai but was still delicious. Would order again. Overall level of spice was spot on for us. We ordered a variety of 2 and 3 stars and each felt the spice level was appropriate.

No bells and whistles, just yummy food with logical portion sizes. Friendly staff though not necessarily knowledgeable enough about the menu to up sell it to someone new to Thai food. The bonus is they don't annoy you with trying to upsell random unwantings. I sat on the lovely, large, CLEAN, well- lit and well-COVERED during a typical Florida, hurricane-season, afternoon deluge. There is no view here as it sits within the warehouse district. It was a little fun, however, to see the Tri-Rail roll by directly next me. The food was served in FDA approved serving sizes on clean plates with shining cuttlery. It was steaming hot and well- seasoned. As a result, I couldn't help my American mind to accept the price wasn't worth it. $9.95 for a lunch time curry? Hmmm... There's another Thai place that takes just as much effort to get to on the other side of Downtown that has similar prices for more food and better ambience. I did like the patio though. On a Monday for lunch I got no Lunch Rush (that was mostly being delivered, I saw) and with the FREE WI- FI, I felt comfortable taking out my laptop for a bit of work whilst digesting.

Sitting here now. Took a chance. Lovely server, excellent food and prices are just fine. ESP for WPB. Am coming back. A nice break from my usual Clematis habit.

This is a hole in the wall place between Tri-Rail and an industrial strip. Good value, friendly staff but the soups were salty and nam sod was dull. Pad sew eh was dry and oily.

Yesterday, I was extremely hungry and just wanted something different from where I usually go. I also wanted to go somewhere quiet with out a large crowd. This is definitely the place. Thai Bay is a nice quaint restaurant off the beaten path. The restaurant is small, seating 15 people at the most. The staff was very nice. They had a a variety of food at reasonable prices. For dinner I had the steamed woosent. It was delicious and filled with chicken and vegetables. Right now they have 10% off take out orders.

This is a great place. Great food, cheap prices and fast service. It's very small but that makes service attentive. I rarely have to wait and if I do, only a few minutes. I keep going back about once a week.

We checked here on Yelp before leaving. 4-5 stars and "reasonable prices", so we went. GPS couldn't locate the place (have to go E on Okee, rt on Parker, rt on Old Okee) so we called three times on the way. Food very good (wife had kar gai soup and iced tea; I had chicken pad thai and a beer) except for the spring rolls which were just ordinary. However, prices seemed pretty high ($12 lg soup). Good service (however, we were the only two people there at 7 on a Saturday nite) but it will be a one-timer for us.

Really, REALLY wonderful. We made an impromptu stop at Thai Bay Restaurant last night before heading over to a concert at the Kravis. What an excellent discovery. Hands-down, this is the best Thai AND Southeast Asian food we'd found in South Florida to-date. Thai Bay is a simple place, not "high dining". What comes out of the kitchen is authentic and just plain delicious. Try the Lad Na with pork and shrimp. The lean marinated pork and cooked-just-right shrimp with broccoli and perfectly seasoned gravy/sauce was a standout. (We've enthusiastically eaten this Thai/Chinese dish everywhere from Bangkok to Boston, and Thai Bay's is among the best.) We'll be back many times. (Note that they are closed on Sundays so the family can enjoy a church day together. Very sweet.) Nav users beware. Our BMW system took us nowhere. Waz brought us to their door. From I-95, take Okeechobee Blvd east toward WPB. Then just over the railroad tracks, take a right on Parker Ave and then another almost immediate right onto Okeechobee Rd. Thai Bay is only a few hundred feet down on the left. Tricky to find for the first time at night!

This place is the same gem it always was for 20 years on Okeechobee. Amazing food and service. Get there early, the dining room is very intimate! I am so happy to find Thai Bay again! I had the Sweet & Sour Chicken and my wife had Pad Siew with chicken. Both were fantastic! I am so glad we chose Thai Bay for my birthday dinner!

I've not had a bad meal here. Very good, polite staff, very clean, and has a big, flavorful menu. This is a great place to try new things because everything is good- they have a 1-5 spicy scale and it's true to size. Curry is my favorite thing here, the vegetable rolls are in the clear rice paper with an amazing peanut sauce. I generally find it too sweet, but they have it down to an art. Their soups are hearty rather than watery. A soup alone would almost fuel you for an afternoon. I love bringing my friends here because you're sure to have a delicious, quality Thai meal.

Thai Bay is the most authentic Thai restaurant in downtown West Palm Beach. Try the Basil Chicken Thai Style. The staff is nice and the food exceptional!!!!

Two of us stopped in for lunch having seen at four star rating on yelp for this establishment. Are you kidding me? The ginger chicken was served in a sauce that was more like a soup , while the vegetables were relatively fresh, the chicken was dry and had no flavor whatsoever. The rice noodles in another dish were probably microwaved.
